Hi, I’m Jonathan, a Senior UX/UI Designer with a background in graphic design, web design, game design, and Edtech. Since 2007, I’ve been crafting digital experiences—starting in advertising and video games, then transitioning to UX/UI design in 2017. I specialize in designing intuitive, user-centered products that drive engagement and business success.
I believe great design is more than aesthetics—it’s about solving real problems. My approach blends strategy, creativity, and user research to create seamless interactions that connect users with technology.

As a contractor for Keralty US, I redesigned key elements of their telemedicine platform (My Sanitas), including the “Videocall with a Health Professional” feature and virtual waiting room, to create a more intuitive and visually appealing user experience. This involved conducting user research to optimize the digital experience, developing retention strategies to enhance user loyalty, and implementing W3C Level AA accessibility standards across platforms like the My Sanitas app and website. I collaborated on design systems to ensure visual consistency, worked with development and marketing teams to ensure technical feasibility, and provided detailed reports and guidelines to promote usability and accessibility within the company.
Designed and implemented a responsive website for the company suited for 3 different states (Alabama, Colorado, North Carolina). Content creation, SEO improvement and Google ADS. Designed and Implemented a website for A+Basements, a basement finishing and remodeling company in Parker, Colorado.
I joined KatapultCommerce.com — an End-to-End eCommerce solution — to help retailers to succeed in the digital world. As one of their Lead Product Designers, I led design on our eCommerce web & Mobile, Order Management System (OMS) and Pickers App solutions, elevating the experiences people have in making great eCommerce websites.
At Cheil Worldwide, a marketing company under the Samsung Group, I led the design of a learning management system to enhance Samsung promoters’ sales skills and product knowledge. I designed a training app with progress tracking, feedback systems, and gamified elements to promote best practices in customer management. Additionally, I designed a CMS with analytics and reporting functionalities, enabling administrators to optimize content and features based on user engagement. These solutions significantly streamlined access to information and improved promoters’ performance in-store.
At Trade Alliance Corporation, I designed an intuitive, responsive intranet platform that consolidated all Google Workspace tools—such as email, calendar, documents, and visual content—into one accessible location, improving efficiency for their young workforce (ages 25-30). The platform also featured a chatbot to streamline communication and provide quick access to internal resources. Built on 100% Google Cloud architecture, it leveraged technologies like App Engine, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage, and APIs for Gmail, Calendar, and Drive, ensuring scalability, security, and seamless integration with existing tools. The result was a highly efficient platform that enhanced employee experience and streamlined workflows.
Davivienda: I led the design of the VI Document Management System, a tool aimed at streamlining information flow across the bank’s operations in six countries, improving both employee and client interactions. I designed and implemented a comprehensive UI Kit and Basic Design System to ensure consistency, usability, and scalability across multiple platforms. By focusing on cross-cultural design, I tailored the user experience to meet regional needs, optimizing workflows and behaviors. The result was an enhanced UX that improved operational efficiency, reduced time spent on document management, and increased user satisfaction across diverse regions.
I designed user interfaces for Learning Management Systems (LMS) for education and government clients, working with platforms like Moodle, Drupal and WordPress to create intuitive, user-centered designs that enhanced the learning experience. By collaborating with clients to understand specific needs, I tailored the UI to improve engagement, accessibility, and usability for diverse user groups, including students, teachers, and administrators. Additionally, I optimized the company’s website, improved SEO, and executed email marketing campaigns to increase visibility and user engagement. I also ensured responsive, accessible designs, meeting accessibility standards for all users, including those with disabilities.
